Saint Maroun Baptism Church project area in the Jordan River is considered one of the important religious and cultural sites in Jordan. This project is located in a historical place where it is considered the waters of the Jordan River, the place of the baptism of Jesus Christ at the hands of John the Baptist.
It is a sacred site for Christians and a place of their religious roots. History and religious significance.
The idea of ​​building the Saint Maroun Baptism Church began in 2009, when 4000sqm of the Baptism Land were allocated for this purpose.
Since then, this project has witnessed significant development and progress in terms of engineering plans and designs. This church represents the fulfillment of the desire of Christians who yearn to establish a holy place that combines worship and contemplation on the banks of the Jordan River where Christ was baptized.
